This extensive wooded area of 30,500 ha covers the west hills of the city of Guadalajara and is considered "The Lungs of the City".
It has 19 springs, more than 1000 species of plants and is the habitat of 106 species of mammals, 49 species of reptiles, 205 bird species, 20 amphibians and 7 fish.
Inside the forest there are several parks with nice camping areas and Río Caliente, with six natural hot springs. It is also ideal for enjoying a picnic, as well as different outdoor games.
Within the forest you can find bike paths with slides and comfortable cabins.

Located at kilometer 20 of the Guadalajara-Nogales Highway No. 15. 23 km, approximately one hour from Zapopan.
