This area is best known as the Firefly Sanctuary because during the six weeks from the last week of June to the first week of August, thousands of fireflies can be seen shining in this place, creating a magical forest-like experience. However, the best time to visit is during the month of July.

It is one of the best places for observing this magnificent natural phenomenon.

There are cabins and camping sites available, as well as trails to walk in this magical place.

When visiting the sanctuary, keep in mind that the temperature fluctuates between 7ºC and 14ºC, so we advise you to bring warm clothing.
