Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Gorda, this small community offers great natural treasures such as the Puente de Dios, Las Grutas de Bernalejo, Los Picachos and a large number of sinkholes.
If you like nature and adventure, this place may be one of your favorites. Here you can practice mountain biking, climbing, caving, camping, hiking and wildlife viewing.
Grutas de Bernalejo (Grotto)
It is a true sanctuary of nature that includes a set of chambers of stalactites and stalagmites.
The route is not that simple, since due to the narrowness of the chambers, there are segments in which you have to go through them lying down.
Exploring the caves takes you about an hour.
Los Picachos
An indescribable mountain due to its shape, especially for those who love climbing.
Sótanos
There are several sinkholes with a great diversity of fauna and flora. Some of them have not yet been explored due to the difficulty of their access.
Puente de Dios (God's bridge)
It is a majestic work of nature, since it is a natural arch that was created through thousands of years. Due to the erosion of the river waters, the rock was perforated, carving it until it became, as its name says, a bridge created by the hand of God.
Its dimensions, both in height and width, transport you to the past imagining the great flows of water that formed this amazing arch.
