It is a very enigmatic protected area that offers unusual landscapes with capricious rock formations that some have even attributed to the fall of a meteorite. If you see this area from the air – you can even see it on Google Earth -, you can see a great circle that forms the Sierra del Sarnoso. 

However, there are others who think that it was a huge volcanic caldera millions of years old. What is certain is that it has a good amount of endemic flora and fauna.

If all these peculiarities weren't enough, this place offers a play of light and shadow that is worth seeing, as the colors run the gamut of reds and ochres, as well as some greens. If you are a nature enthusiast, it is a place that you should not miss. 

You can visit the Sarnoso Canyon, a place to practice extreme sports such as mountain biking, climbing and rappelling, or simply climb to the top and enjoy this exotic place that reminds us of a landscape from the moon.
