This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico, measuring 30 meters wide and 60 meters high. It's located within the Los Tuxtlas Biosphere Reserve. 

There's a path with 244 steps that leads to the top of the waterfall, where there's a viewpoint. However, be prepared to get wet due to the breeze created by the massive waterfall. 

It's surrounded by a bamboo forest, and the landscape is so impressive that scenes from the epic movie "Apocalypto" directed by Mel Gibson were filmed here.

There are informal restaurants in the vicinity.
