This river runs through one of the most beautiful ejidos (communal lands) in the state. The river flows amidst lush vegetation, and throughout the course, you can enjoy beautiful landscapes.

Another attraction of this area is the Virgin of Contadero, which, like the Virgin of El Chorrito, was carved into the rock of a cave by some “arrieros” (person who transports goods usig pack animals, especially mules) who used to visit it.
