Located south of Culiacán, Punta Quevedo can be reached by boat. The peninsula is approximately 12 kilometers long and is a privileged spot for birdwatching.
The secluded beaches invite you to take long walks and admire the natural beauty. At the end of the peninsula, you will find Boca de Mar, where it's easy to spot dolphins that come there to feed on the crustaceans and fish that inhabit this incredible ecosystem formed by natural channels surrounded by mangroves.
At this point, you can see Isla de los Patos, located in front of Cóspita, with a length of 900 m and a width of 300 m. The island is populated by mangroves and has a peculiar oasis with palm trees.
