The dam is composed of a massive concrete and rock wall with a height of 187 meters, considered the tallest of its kind in Latin America. It is formed by the waters of the Santiago and Huaymamota rivers and is located within the Picachos Mountains.
There is a dock where you can rent a boat to engage in various water activities. There are several restaurants around the dam, and you can also enjoy an authentic visual spectacle full of colors.
