The rock reaches a height of 3,400 meters above sea level. It is an ideal place for hiking and rock climbing.

One myth says that it was once part of the sea, while another says that the Xochuca flower or the weeping flower, which a great Lord of Tlaxcallan ordered to be brought here to cover his daughter's tomb, was located here.
