The type of vegetation present in this Natural Area are stone pine, oak, oak and thorny scrub.
It is the habitat of wild animals such as white-tailed deer, cacomixtle, gray fox, raccoon, badger, eagle, red-tailed hawk, and quail, among others.
In this beautiful wooded area you can practice various ecotourism activities.
Additionally, it includes 2 dams where you can do activities such as boat rides and fishing.

Location
Located 12 km. west of the municipal seat of San Diego de la Unión, it borders to the north with the El Verde and El Macho hills, and to the south with the El Madroño and San Juan hills, 54 km, approximately one hour, from Dolores Hidalgo.
