The park has an area of 13,475 ha, which is basically made up of coniferous forests.

It has ravines, tunnels, numerous rock formations and several waterfalls, including Mexiquillo Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall with crystalline waters with a height of 20 meters surrounded by a pine forest.

The rock formations can exceed 8 m in height and that is why this area is known as the "Garden of Stones".

Additionally, in Mexiquillo you can explore a series of tunnels that were made for a railway line that was never completed. You can do this on foot, by bicycle or on ATVs.

It is a place that has so many surprising wonders that it is well worth camping and getting to know all its beautiful corners.
