Located in the mountainous region between the peaks of Aculzingo and the Barranca de Tetlac, a few kilometers from Orizaba.
It covers an area of 55,960 hectares and is mainly covered by pine and oak forests, as well as cloud forests.
Its name comes from the Blanco River, which runs through the park forming more than 20 waterfalls, including the Tuxpango Waterfall and the Elephant Waterfall with a drop of 20 m.
To get a better view of the latter waterfall, you'll have to descend 500 steps, allowing you to enjoy a panoramic view of the waterfall and the canyon.
Moreover, if you enjoy adventure, you'll find one of the largest zip lines in Veracruz here, with a height of 120 m and consisting of two lines, one that is 288 m long and the other 270 m.
