They are also known as "Los Monolitos" because there are huge monoliths in the shape of a honeycomb.
The rock formations are in a steep ravine and are made up of large columns distributed over 10 km in length.
To get to these strange formations you have to walk about 600 m until you reach the bottom of the ravine. On the way you will have to cross some streams and bodies of water.
In its lower part runs a river called "El Panal". It is recommended to visit it in rainy seasons.
