With a diameter of two kilometers and shallow waters. It is the home of a variety of birds like herons, diving ducks and white-winged ducks, as well as tule trees. More than 80 percent of the birds registered in Morelos live in this lagoon.
This lagoon is closely linked to the beliefs and activities of the people, there is even a belief that a stone carved in the shape of a snake rests at the bottom of the water.
You can enjoy the lagoon and delicious meals including a variety of dishes with fish fresh from the lagoon, accompanied with sopes, comal tortillas and sauces.

Location
Located in the municipality of Jonacatepec at km 93 of highway 160 in the deviation to Jantetelco. It is located 38 km, approximately 40 minutes from Cuernavaca.
