This is a unique garden, where organ pipe cacti stand out among agaves, barrel cacti, mammillarias, and other species of cacti. The plants here are in their original habitat.
It is named after Dr. Helia Bravo Hollis, the first Mexican biologist to graduate in 1927.
The tour includes interpretive trails where you can admire this type of vegetation in its natural environment and learn more about the region's fauna.
The garden features an Environmental Interpretation Center with the aim of conserving and developing this ecosystem.
The complex includes pleasant cabins and a saltworks where salt is still produced traditionally.
Paleontology enthusiasts may be interested in visiting San Juan Raya, located 14 kilometers west of Zapotitlán, where remains of snails, sponges, corals, and oysters have been found.
