Half an hour by boat, departing from the dock at Laguna del Carmen in Sánchez Magallanes, you will find the island “El Pajaral,” a lovely place to connect with nature, as its many trees are home to a wide variety of birds.

Both the island and several nearby islets are home to mangrove forests and other trees that serve as habitats for regional birds.
