They are a true wonder of nature and are open to the public but you must be accompanied by an expert guide. The guides can be found in the town of Ocotlipa.

Inside there are primitive paintings that are said to be some of the oldest in America. These vestiges are located approximately one km deep, however, it must be taken into account that access is not easy, so it takes time to reach the place where the paintings are located.

The representations consist of a man with a black cape and his arms and feet are covered with jaguar skin, which is located in front of another human figure that appears to be of lesser rank. The impressive painting is 2m high. Another depiction shows a feathered serpent and a jaguar.

The Hall of the Apaches has other paintings that have a clear Olmec influence that are attributed to an age ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 years.

This enclosure is home to hundreds of bats.
