Its name means "Sounding Water" in Nahuatl, as it has an underground river with mineral-rich waters and incredible waterfalls. They were discovered in 1997.

Although not the most well-known, they are among the most beautiful caves in the state.

To access these caves, you have to follow a trail that runs through lush forests.

The entrance is very low, so stooping is required in the main passage, and a few meters ahead, the water will reach waist level.

All the chambers that you descend through, connected by a main passage, display whimsical rock formations, stalactites, and intensely yellow-colored columns, offering a unique landscape.

You can swim in its magical pool, so named because it appears on some days and disappears on others. There are also waterfalls and some dazzling white stalactites, making the cave's landscapes unforgettable.

Exploring this cave requires some experience as it involves walking in cold water, low ceilings, and narrow passages.

There are cabins and camping areas nearby.
