Due to its important biodiversity, it is the ideal spot for naturalists and bird watchers. This place is part of the migratory corridor of the center of neotropical bird species from the north. You can see 172 different bird species, of which 40 percent are migratory.

Currently, the Cuenca de la Esperanza has rental tents, bicycles, binoculars, telescopes, flashlights, restrooms, places to eat, grills, and designated camping areas.
