This is a protected area of over 800 hectares where you can explore one of the few virgin jungles in the country. Along the trails, you can discover trees that are over 300 years old through interpretive paths. 

Additionally, you can explore an extensive area of estuaries that form a complex network of channels surrounded by mangroves, where a wide variety of marine fauna and exotic birds inhabit. You will also be amazed by beautiful carpets of water lilies and incredible colorful orchids.

Guided tours are offered in the Protected Natural Area, which include boat rides and interpretive trail tours. The experiences last about three hours.
