It is a large semi-open cavern that can be accessed through a metal staircase.
The cenote has a circular shape with an approximate diameter of 50 meters and is about 15 meters below the surface level. Long roots hang from the ceiling down to the water, reaching depths of up to 2 meters.
The underwater cave area is one of the largest in the peninsula, with depths ranging from 5 to 50 meters, where submerged stalactites can be seen. It is one of the preferred sites for cave divers.
At certain times of the day, sunlight reaches the water, creating spectacular light effects.

Location
It is located approximately 59 km, about an hour south of the city of Mérida.
