It is located in the swamp, amidst dense vegetation, allowing for the observation of a wide variety of birds, including flamingos, as well as crustaceans, mollusks, and reptiles.
In this paradisiacal place, there are cenotes and two natural springs. At the entrance, you can see the first cenote, very close to two small natural springs, and further ahead, after crossing a bridge, is the "Cenote Venado," which is spacious, clean, and slightly deeper than the first one.
The local cooperative offers some facilities such as resting palapas, camping areas, and a dock from where tours to the springs depart.
If you want to enjoy the surrounding nature of the cenote, you can walk along a trail through the mangrove that leads you to the third cenote, "Cenote Pájaros." It is the largest of the group, and its emerald-green waters invite you to take a refreshing swim.
You can swim in the natural springs in the lower parts of the estuary.
