These Forests from Dry Tropics to Cloudy in Ixtlán are considered the largest and best-preserved in Central and North America, with over 150,000 hectares. The forest is protected by indigenous communities.

In this same region, you can admire and visit the Quercus-Lauraceae forests in their natural environment, which have survived here for over 40 million years and contain the highest number of plant species of their kind at the national level.

The Sierra Juárez is one of the 3 must richest areas in plant species, boasting 7 out of the 9 terrestrial vegetation ecosystems in the country, hosting approximately 6,000 species.

Here, you can find humid forests ranging from 200 meters to over 3,000 meters above sea level.
