A natural site of stunning beauty considered a National Park. It features a cloud forest vegetation, with trees that can reach up to 40 meters in height.

The Metlac River runs along the ravine, formed by the meltwater from the glaciers of Pico de Orizaba, the tallest peak in Mexico.

A towering bridge crosses the ravine. This is one of the highest in all of North America, standing at 131 meters tall and 90 meters long. Initially, it was a railway bridge built in the late 19th century.

This old bridge is accompanied by various legends, as it is said that several people have had different accidents there, leading some locals to claim they have seen apparitions at night. This, combined with the frequent fog, gives it a ghostly atmosphere.

Over the years, four bridges have been constructed to cross the ravine, one of which connects the cities of Córdoba, Fortín de las Flores, and Orizaba.
