Also known as Laguna de Almoloya, it consists of nine natural springs and is characterized by its intense blue color.

Boats and kayaks can be rented. Along its shores, there are kiosks with barbecue grills and restaurants that offer typical local snacks.

This body of water is also the setting of a legend, "La Sirena Tlanchana," which tells the story of a strange woman who would perch on an islet or a group of roots. Sometimes she appeared as a normal woman, while other times her lower half resembled a black snake tail. This character would invite fishermen to live with her in the center of the lagoon.

Every year, an important trout fishing tournament takes place here, although you can also catch carp and charales. Additionally, it is the location where the Festival of Light and Life is held around the Day of the Dead celebrations, a fabulous spectacle that represents a pre-Hispanic ritual.
