The waterfall is surrounded by the magnificent Sierra Madre Occidental in the middle of a forested landscape. It is fed by the Vaquería River and its fall is approximately 30 meters high.
It is an excellent place for hiking, or for those who like mountaineering, it has deep ravines that are a challenge for lovers of this sport.
