This was an old railway station that was used mainly for the transportation of wood from Cerro Grande.

Currently, only some of the vestiges of the line that operated until 1910 can be seen, however its greatest attraction is the beautiful mountainous landscape that surrounds it, which is part of the Manantlán Biosphere Reserve.

It has some viewpoints from where you have an impressive panoramic view of the volcanoes, as well as some interpretive trails.

It is a place for camping, hiking and mountain biking.

There are local guides that can take you to see all the natural corners that you cannot miss, such as the Pozo de la Peña and the Piedra de Juluapan.
