Great rivers of sand run under the sea. The waterfalls are caused by excess sand left by storms in the bay.

The sand runs through the channels of the canyon and when it reaches the narrowest passages it forms what are known as “sand falls” that reach a height of 30 m (100 ft.).

It is a unique experience for diving lovers, however it is only recommended for those with great experience. The waterfalls are intermittent.
