Templo de San Juan de Dios
This work is attributed to Father Juan Manuel de Villegas and dates back to 1770.
It has a quarry stone façade with Churrigueresque influences and consists of two levels. The first level has a semi-circular arched entrance, highlighting a beautiful mesquite wood door with relief carvings and geometric motifs in high relief. The second level features a coralline window with a stylized trefoil shape.
The old hospital was in operation until 1957, and the cemetery until 1940.
Inside, the image of San Rafael Arcángel, the patron of the temple, stands out.
