The reservoir is located between Mante and González, covering an area of 9,800 hectares. Its main water source is the Guayalejo River.
The dam covers an area of 10,000 hectares and has a 1.6 km long and 10-meter high dam wall.
It is an ideal place for birdwatching, with white and gray herons and ducks, as well as for cycling and walking while enjoying the landscape.
You can also enjoy bass and snook fishing.

Location
Located southwest of the town of González. You have to take the road that leads to the ejido Graciano Sánchez and it is approximately 15 km from the ejido, between the municipalities of Mante and González. It is located about 17 km, approximately a half-hour drive from Ciudad Victoria.
