This beautiful body of water was built in the early fifties and is supplied by the San Isidro and Tuxpan rivers. 

Over time it has become one of the favorite places for locals to be able to enjoy nature and spend some leisure time.

On the same road, 20 km away, you can reach the Salto de Enandio, a 90 m high waterfall located in the municipality of Benito Juárez.
