Central Mexico
Located on the central coast of Quintana Roo, it encompasses the ancient walled city of Tulum. Despite being relatively small, it has a wide variety of ecosystems.
You can explore and walk among mangrove trees, low and medium jungle, coastal dune shrubs, and palm groves that are home to a great variety of flora and fauna, including white and loggerhead sea turtles that nest on the park's beaches from May to November.
Among the most common birds are the black hawk, brown pelican, frigatebird, osprey, and parrots, to name a few.
The park includes rocky coastline and fine sandy beaches, and if you want to see more than Mayan structures and tropical vegetation, you can immerse yourself in the shallow waters nearby, which host a wonderful world shared by immobile sponges and corals, among which hundreds of colorful tropical fish swim.
