Copper Canyon Adventure Park
Copper Canyon Adventure Park is one of the most important extreme activity complexes in the Mexican Republic and is located near the Chihuahua al Pacifico railway station known as "El Divisadero."
It is considered one of the most impressive Mountain Parks in the world as it incorporates the natural beauty of the area, the ancestral culture of the Tarahumaras, and has modern facilities.
Among its attractions, a set of 7 zip lines that fly over the famous canyons stands out. They are the largest in the country, with a length of 2,538 meters. The tour is done in a chair-type harness and reaches speeds of 80 to 135 km per hour.
Additionally, there are over 10 suspension bridges that add up to nearly 5 kilometers of walking paths.
There is also a via ferrata where, in addition to walking along the mountain walls, you have to overcome challenges such as rock climbing in some sections, rope descent in others, and pass through a "Tarzan Swing" that is a bridge that can be quite vertigo-inducing, in addition to crossing another suspension bridge made of a simple rope.
There is a cable car considered the third longest in the world, with 3 kilometers of cable without intermediate towers. It is located in Divisadero Station, next to the Piedra Volada viewpoint. It has two cabins with a capacity of 60 passengers each. These cabins reach Mesa de Bacajipare, a viewpoint that offers an impressive panoramic view of the junction of the Copper Canyon, Tararecua Canyon, and Urique Canyon; the latter being the deepest at 1,879 meters.
The park also features a climbing wall, Eurobungy, and mini-golf, as well as a restaurant with spectacular terraces and a glass floor, ancient walking trails, mountain bike rentals, camping areas, and horseback riding.
