A stately mansion from the 18th century where Ignacio Allende y Unzaga was born and raised. 

It has a baroque façade with neoclassical elements, an arched entrance with vegetal reliefs, and a carved wooden door with a semicircular pediment adorned with ornamental motifs., portada de arco escarzano y enjutas con relieves vegetales. En el acceso resalta la puerta de madera labrada que en la parte superior ostenta un frontón semicircular con florones.

This building houses the San Miguel de Allende Historical Museum, which displays an archaeological collection, objects belonging to the leader, historical documents about the city's founding, and expressions of contemporary art.
