This is the largest inland lagoon in Campeche with 1,500 m long by 600 m wide. It is characterized by its green waters and is surrounded by a beautiful landscape of abundant vegetation. 

It has a small islet with almost virgin jungle vegetation, habitat of the varied local fauna such as white-tailed deer, wild boar, armadillo, crocodile, and alligator, among others.

Motor boats are not allowed, so the way to explore it is by canoe.
