It is a lagoon located in the crater of an extinct volcano surrounded by exuberant vegetation very close to the Magical Town of Tacámbaro. It is characterized by its green color and its depth is about 35 m. 

The place has several legends that go back to pre-Hispanic times where they tell of two beautiful maidens who drowned fighting for the love of a young man and that is why every spring mysterious and beautiful flowers appear in the waters of the Pool.

You can enjoy fishing, but due to the vegetation that grows inside it is not recommended to swim.
