Pacanda Island:
This island is located in the center of the lake. It has an interior lagoon of singular beauty where carp and duck abound.
Janitzio Island:
A 40-meter-high monument was erected on its top in memory of Don José María Morelos y Pavón. Inside, the painter Ramón Alva de la Canal stamped the life of the hero.
The community that inhabits it has preserved its customs, such as the Night of the Dead, a ceremony in which fishermen go out with their butterfly nets and boats illuminated with lit candles.
Tecuena Island:
It is the smallest island in Lake Pátzcuaro. Suggestive place that invites rest and reflection.
Yunuen Island:
Its attractions are its vegetation and its typical constructions. This island has a picturesque pier, cabins for lodging and other services to enjoy a quiet and pleasant stay.
Los Urandenes Islands:
There are three islands surrounded by channels of great beauty. Here are the main reserves of white fish. Its inhabitants are skilled in fishing with butterfly nets.
Jarácuaro:
