There are more than 100 islands in the Gulf of California, famous for their beauty, some of the most importat are: La Isla Calavera, refuge for a large colony of sea lions. The Coronado Islands, with beautiful mangroves, is an important reserve for pelicans, blue herons and 160 other species of birds.
Isla Rasa, an amazing place you can’t miss
Rasa Island, Natural Park, where 95% of the world's total population of the plumage gull and the elegant sea tern nest. The largest in this group of islands is the Isla Ángel de la Guarda, with a mountain range that runs along its entire length and reaches heights greater than 1,000 m above sea level.
On the eastern side, there is a small bay with nice beaches. 29% of the birds, 80% of the reptiles, 3% of the plants and 41% of the mammals on the islands are endemic. There are more than 800 species of fish in this water, making it a very attractive place to explore its underwater world.
