Iglesia de Cuxtitali
Built by the Dominicans in the former neighborhood of Tsotsil and Quiché indigenous people.
It has a single-nave floor plan with a lateral chapel, a double-sloped roof with a coffered ceiling and wooden braces.
Cuenta con planta de una nave con capilla lateral, techo a dos aguas con el sistema de artesonado y dobles vigas tirantes de madera.
The facade consists of three horizontal sections and three vertical streets with simple smooth pilasters.
The neoclassical main altar is dedicated to the Sweet Name of Jesus, and the side chapel houses the Virgin of the Rosary. Several interesting colonial paintings can be appreciated on the interior walls.
