It is an imposing hill of a very peculiar shape that rises to a height of 400 m and frames the towns of La Purísima and San Isidro. In the 18th century, the Jesuit missionaries saw the image of the Virgin Mary in its shape, which they took as a divine message to establish the missions in that area.
