This route of the cenotes has become one of the most attractive routes for nature lovers, since it includes three cenotes: Cenote Azul, Cenote de los Patos and Cenote K-41.
To get to these beautiful corners you have to hire a local guide. The first cenote has some services and the other two are to be in contact with nature.
Cenote Azul
The first cenote to visit is the Cenote Azul, which is accessed through an intricate path, which will be a great way to start your adventure. The green body of water has an approximate diameter of 250 m and its walls are 80 m high and are covered with leafy trees.
It has a zip line that runs through the entire cenote. In addition, you can practice kayaking, hiking and enjoy contact with nature.
Cenote Los Patos
Located 400 m ahead of the Cenote Azul and its name is due to the number of birds that inhabit this beautiful cenote, especially patillo pijiji and other migratory species of ducks. It has a diameter of 200 m and we advise you not to get closet he cenote because hives of Africanized Honey bees are established on its walls.
Cenote K-41
Its name is due to the fact that is located on the train tracks at kilometer 41 and is hidden in the jungle. It is home to thousands of bats and if you visit it at sunset you will be able to see the incredible spectacle of how they come out to look for food.
