Its name comes from being in the middle of dense vegetation. To reach the cenote, you have to walk approximately one kilometer through the jungle, where it's not difficult to see large families of spider monkeys and an incredible variety of birds.

It is one of the least crowded cenotes in the area and appears as a large pool of clear, deep water surrounded by some rocky formations that measure up to 4 meters, from where you can jump. However, there are also two wooden platforms to enter the water.

You can swim in its crystal-clear waters and see a great variety of fish and some turtles. The temperature ranges from 24 to 26°C.

The cenote also has some underwater caves to explore for adventurous divers.

It has a palapa for picnics or relaxation.
