This cenote has an approximate diameter of 30 m and a depth that reaches about 55 m. The temperature ranges from 24 to 26°C.
To reach it, you have to walk along a path of approximately 150 m through a dense jungle, where you can see colorful bromeliads and orchids, as well as some coatis, peccaries, and tapirs. Once at the cenote, there is a staircase and a small platform that allows easy access.
It is a place for experienced divers due to its depth, and you should always go accompanied by a guide.
What makes this cenote unique is its surreal and bewildering landscape. Up to a depth of 30 m, you have unlimited visibility, and the landscape is composed of enormous stalactites. At this depth, there is a hydrogen sulfide cloud that is approximately 3 m thick and meanders along the bottom amidst large trees, making it feel like you are in the middle of an underwater forest. It is even possible to dive beneath the cloud where there is warm saltwater. It is dark here, so it feels like being in a forest at night.
