This area is near the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve and has an endless number of natural landscapes, especially the aguadas, unique bodies of water due to the type of soil in the region. 

Among the endemic species of the territory we find precious woods, such as mahogany and cedar. There are a large number of species of amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, including howler monkey, ocelot, trigrillo, puma and jaguar. 

To explore the area, you have to make your way through trails opened in earlier times by chicleros and loggers.
