It is also known as the Temple of Our Lady of Carmen.
Its construction dates back to 1655 and remained unfinished for over 100 years. The facade features Churrigueresque style. y permaneció inconcluso por más de 100 años. La fachada es de estilo churrigueresco.
The sumptuous bell tower has two levels. In the sacristy, there is a large work that covers the entire wall, "The Adoration of the Magi," painted in 1775.
Adjacent to the temple is the Chapel of Our Lady of El Pueblito.
