Parroquia de San Pedro Apóstol
It is a beautiful building constructed by the Franciscan order from 1676 to 1813.
It is located in the center of Zapopan, next to Jardín Hidalgo.
The parish has an atrial wall with a balustrade and two crosses with reliefs. Its facade is made of quarry stone and features three buttresses that display a sturdy Byzantine style with a Roman basilical touch.
Inside, there is the altar of Our Lady of Guadalupe with an oil painting of the image, as well as sculptures of Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
It is the most important temple in the municipality as it is declared the seat of the Patron Saint of this town.
