Templo de San Juan Nepomuceno
This impressive neoclassical temple dates back to 1779 and was built by the Jesuits.
In 1878, the San Juan College was founded adjacent to the temple, and in 1879, the construction of the church began as it stands today.
It houses a magnificent collection of oil paintings by Father Gonzalo Carrasco depicting the Stations of the Cross. Inside, beautiful evangelical sculptures and a mural depicting the life of San Juan can also be seen.
Colorful stained glass windows portraying the resurrection of the Lord, the disciples of Emmaus, the ascension, and Pentecost can be found in the side windows.
