Templo de San Francisco (Temple)
Construction dating back to the 16th century and built in an eclectic style.
Inside, it preserves a Christ made of cornstalk paste, which is astonishing for its fidelity to its forms and was crafted in the 16th century. Locals tell that at some point, the figure moved, which they considered a miracle, so the temple is very popular among the faithful.
Inside, there is also an oil painting depicting the two most important figures for the Franciscans: the Pope and Saint Francis of Assisi.
The entrance door to the cloister, in Plateresque style, is one of the most beautiful Renaissance works in the city.
