Templo de San Diego
In the 17th century, the Dominicans built this temple for the indigenous people of the region.
Its colonial architecture, from the early temples, has undergone various modifications in Gothic and neoclassical styles.
During the colonial period, this small temple functioned as a hospital and was administered by the Diego friars.
It has a single-nave floor plan, a wooden coffered ceiling, double beams, and tiled roofs. It is part of a modest atrium. San Diego, a saint with a strong indigenous tradition, is venerated here.
Next to the church, there is a picturesque kiosk with the same colors and architectural features.
