Templo de Nuestra Señora de la Salud
It was built by Father Luis Felipe Neri in the 18th century.
It is a landmark in San Miguel de Allende, especially at night when its original façade is illuminated from Plaza Allende.
The façade features a steepled baroque style and a notable niche or shell-like entrance in the Churrigueresque style.
Inside the shell, several niches house various images such as Santa Ana, San Joaquín, San Juan Evangelista, the Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Conception.
The interior has a Latin cross plan, and the side walls are covered with oil paintings by Agapito Ping.
The altars are simple and elaborately crafted with stone. The small Carmarin of the Virgin of the Three Birds stands out and is considered an authentic jewel.
